Chipotle. He was an old, grumpy, big guy. Man was he grumpy. Big as a barrel, grumpy as a thunderstorm, and old as time. Everyone in the town of Chipotle knew him as the stinky, stubby, and somehow always found something to complain about man. With his pink little Stanley and his big, bushy unibrow, he would go around town to each stall, picking and nagging at all the vendors for absolutely nothing! Sitting on his creaky, rusty porch swing he would nitpicking at the people just casually walking by. No one knew why he did this or even what told him to do that. This all stopped when he was rolling around town, trying to find something to pick about when all the sudden she was standing before him. Burrita. She had silky hair, as shiny as a diamond. Her eyes lit up the whole room and her tortilla dress wrapped around her like a soft blanket. Chipotle stopped dead in his tracks. Staring at her.
It was a bright and early morning. The sun shining right on Chipotle’s face. That bright beam of light finally was enough to wake him up. He woke up all grumpy, as he normally does, and rolled out of bed. Literally. He rolled to the kitchen as his stomach was grumbling and waiting for food. He ordered some food all from different places. Chipotle had a whole spread of food including 55 burgers, 55 fries, 55 tacos, and 55 pies. The feast was a masterpiece in his eyes. The savory smell of the burger, the saltiness of the fries, and the colorful toppings that complement the meal overall. He first had to fill his pink Stanley with 4 liters of Monster and Red Bull. It took him only 15 minutes to finish that whole meal! He finally decided to get ready after staying in bed for nearly three hours. He rolled to his bathroom and got changed into a Brandy Melville crop top and jean shorts. When he was rolling around, he bumped into the corner of his wardrobe.
“YOUCH!” he shrieked.
He got up from rolling and found a huge red bump on his big belly. That bump hurt so badly he couldn’t even roll around anymore. After just sitting there for nearly an hour, the pain was gone. There was only a giant red mark but that was about it. He rolled to the bathroom to brush his one piece of hair. However, when he went to the bathroom, he found out, his only hair he had, had fallen off because of that accident. Chipotle froze. He rolled back to his room and looked around on the floor, searching for his hair. Scrambling and scrambling through his messy room. Clothes piled on top of each other in every corner of the room. At last, he gave up. There was no point in even trying to find it anymore. Chipotle didn’t even care about his bump anymore. That one piece of hair was his only friend. It’s been with him since he was a baby! And now, he’s lost it. He slowly rolled out of the house to clear his mind. He sat on his front porch swing that surprisingly hasn’t broken yet, even though it was literally hanging by a thread. He hummed himself a tune to try and help cheer him up. Even his favorite songs couldn’t brighten him up. He had a whole day planned ahead of him, but not it was all ruined. While on his porch swing, he wouldn’t even yell at the people walking by! That’s how sad he was.
“Oh my gosh there's CHIPOTLE on his swing again, we’re definitely getting yelled at.” Said a passerby.
But, Chipotle didn’t. He didn’t even look up. He wasn’t in the mood anymore.
“Hm. That’s weird..Should we go check up on him?” said that same neighbor.
“No! We don’t know what he could be up to. Maybe it’s a trap and he’s luring us in! Or maybe something worse!”
“I think you’re just overthinking it. Come on! How bad could he really be.” They whispered.
“No thanks. He’s probably poisonous.”
“Fine.”
Chipotle heard everything they were saying but did not care for any of it. He knew everyone in the town hated him. But in reality, he just wanted someone to care for him. To check up on him and to not be lonely anymore. Now that his only hair, his best friend, was gone he had no one. He rolled back inside sadly and immediately went back to bed. When he woke up, it was 9:30pm. His stomach was as loud thunder, grumbling and grumbling. Soon he couldn’t take it anymore. He rolled out of bed and went to town to go get something to eat. He didn’t want his face to be shown to anyone, especially without his hair. Hesitantly, he rolled all the way to the town market. While rolling, everybody stared at him, expecting him to start yelling at everyone. However, Chipotle took that the wrong way and thought everybody was staring at him because he had no hair! Because of this, this enraged him. His face turned bright red. He started to get angrier and angrier. Soon enough, he stood on his stubby two legs. He ran to the people that were staring at him and started yelling. Everyone in town expected this by now. He yelled and yelled at the people who were selling fruit at their stand.
“When is he not yelling at people?” one questioned.
“Gosh he needs some anger management. People these days, am I right.” one nudged.
“STARING AT ME HUH? YOU BETTER WATCH IT BUDDY! WAIT AND SEE WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN TO YOUR LITTLE STALL WHERE NO ONE BUYS ANYTHING FROM YOU POOR PEOPLE!” shouted Chipotle.
But Chipotle still didn’t care. He even got louder and louder! Those poor people at the stand doing nothing wrong. Well eventually after about thirty minutes, his anger finally subsided. His face turned back to his original color and he rolled away, acting like nothing happened. While rolling, he was still upset about everyone staring. All of a sudden, he stopped in his tracks. The crowd thought he was about to go yell at another stall owner, but no. Standing right before his eyes, there she was. Burrita. She turned around. Her eyes sparkled as bright as the sun. Her hair was as silky as silk. Everything about her shined in Chipotle’s eyes. He firmly got up (struggling of course) and waddled over to her, hoping she didn’t see anything that just happened.
“So uh, you new around here?” he asks, trying to make a good impression.
“Yeah! Just visiting some family!” she exclaims.
He breaths a sigh of relief. It seemed like she didn’t see anything, but in reality she did, just trying to not make him feel embarrassed.
“You need some food places to go…I could take you. Obviously stranger danger but just let me know.” he smirked.
“Yeah…of course! Actually I am kind of hungry, I could go for something to eat!”
