Rise of Cuton

Cuton paces in his spacious office. Like everyone else in the building, he is worried. It is 14 years in the future, and the US has just found millions of gallons of oil hidden underground in Texas, making it the richest country in the world by far. With all the money, they are able to build new weapons, make military and technological advancements, and invent the first-ever jetpack. This sudden wealth and power intimidated countries, even their allies, who feared that, with such power, they would attempt to take over all countries. A somewhat known political influencer, Maximus Gonzales, decided to capture this opportunity.

A year ago, Maximus was considered unknown. He was a normal politician doing normal business. Now he has started campaigns, speeches, and has convinced the corrupt people of countries to do horrible things to non-believers.

After the rallies, real-world chaos soon came. Maximus has his own army, which he calls the Barbarians, to attack, take over, and convince people to join the cause in many places around the world, such as France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, China, and Vietnam. Maximus has personally appeared with his talented army, bringing joy and assuring peace to the countries he has convinced to join.

Now, the selfish Cuton learns he can’t do this alone, strategically, while Maximus continues to conquer countries, he comes up with ideas of stopping this attack. He and the top commanders form a plan to convince powerful allies to help stop Maximus.

Cuton is now more anxious than ever. New headlines read: Now Maximus has successfully convinced all the countries, even its allies, to turn against them. Cuton doesn't know how, but now all the countries are anxious and worried about the power and threat the US has gained from all the oil found. Cuton decides he now has to put his plan into action. He and many strong people in the government decide to convince strong allies, including Canada, France, Japan, and the UK.

To convince each country, Cuton just talked about their past. While talking to Japan, he mentioned how they were such strong allies, and while meeting with the others, he mentioned how strong they could be together and how it was just insane to listen to Maximus. Out of many countries, Cuton successfully convinced Taiwan, Germany, Japan, and Canada. With these allies by his side, Cuton felt less anxious. He immediately called for a secret meeting with the leaders of these four countries to form a plan. They decided to call themselves the Allied Resistance. Cuton told them that they needed to act fast because Maximus was getting more powerful every single day, his Barbarians expanding and gaining more people every day.

The leaders agreed that they could not fight Maximus in a normal war because his army was very talented and they were outnumbered. Instead, Japan suggested using its oil to make powerful devices like new ships, planes, or weapons. Taiwan offered to help build the objects quickly using its factories. Germany and Canada decided to combine their armies to defend the borders in case Maximus found out about their secret alliance.

Meanwhile, Maximus was in his office planning his next attack. He wanted to take over Australia next. He did not know that Cuton had convinced powerful allies to turn against him. Maximus ordered his army, the Barbarians, to get ready for the invasion. He gave a big speech to his followers, telling them that the world would soon be entirely under his control and that no one could stop them because they outnumbered Cuton.

Just as Maximus was about to launch their Barbarians to attack Australia, Cuton gave the order to start their plan. Taiwan and Japan attacked using ships, planes, and powerful nukes, which caused lots of damage and killed thousands of Barbarians. Suddenly, all of Maximus’s hopes crumbled. Now that countries were working together, he knew his plan would not work, so he started panicking.

Maximus ran to his radar screens to see what was happening. His Barbarian army was completely caught off guard by the sudden attack. The high-tech weapons that Cuton funded with the Texas oil were too powerful, and Maximus's ships were quickly destroyed in the ocean before they could even reach the Australian coast. At the same time, Germany and Canada moved their armies together to block the borders so the remaining Barbarians could not escape.

When his followers saw that Maximus was losing and panicking, they stopped believing his speeches. They realized he was not unstoppable like he promised, so his followers stopped listening to him. Cuton, France, and the UK sent more planes to help finish the battle. With no allies left and his army falling apart, Maximus was finally captured by the leaders of the Resistance to be tried and executed for his war crimes.

Back in his spacious office, Cuton looked at the news reports. He was no longer anxious or worried about the future. His plan to talk to the other countries had worked perfectly, and they had saved the world from the corrupt politician. Cuton decided to share the remaining underground oil and the jetpack technology with Taiwan, Japan, Germany, Canada, France, and the UK to help them rebuild. All the countries agreed to stay powerful allies so that no one like Maximus could ever try to take over the world again.
