Listen to me! the last words that came out of my dads mouth as I was laying on the gravel torn up, bruised, and battered. A couple minutes later I realized I broke my collarbone. However that wasn’t even the worst part, the fact that I wouldn’t be in this situation if i hadn’t of made the stupid decision to not listen to my dad. Memories and light start to flood my brain of past experiences . BAM! Colllison I landed on the front wheel and did a front flip onto my shoulder. “DAMIT JAKE!” exclaimed my dad!
Walking down the mountain was the most painful experience of my life. From the cuts and bruises to my broken collarbone everything hurt. However, not as much as my guilt and trust towards my dad now I can't play sports for a while I was grounded from any active activities. So now I can’t run, play football, or play basketball. This is gonna be a really boring summer. Or is it?
Out of all odds my dad decided to tell us we're going to Europe in 4 weeks! I was so mad at myself that all I wanted to do was sleep. The very next day I woke up to the sound of my dad making breakfast. As I walked up to him he said, “ You are one lucky Jackass,” my dad mutered.
“I’m sorry dad I know I am such an idiot for doing that but you don’t have to flame me for it to my face,” I responded.
“You need to learn Jake!” my dad exclaimed.
“Your being a bit of an asshole at this point,” I mistakenly said.
“That’s it you are grounded.” he yelled.
“I'm done with you,” I exclaimed.
“No more Europe, that's it,” he yelled.
I stomped off into my room and continued to cry. The moral of he story is to always listen to your parents cause they know what's best for you.
